She retired from Bell South after 42 years and belonged to the Pioneer of the Telephone company. She was also a member of Eastern Star 466, as well as volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital. She was a former member of First Baptist Church of Fountain City and First Baptist of Clinton, TN. The past 14 years she lived at Meadow View Assisted Living in Clinton, and she thought of them as her family. Very special thanks to April and Cindy, as well as a thank you to Shalom Hospice for their care.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Gladys Drake; sister, Peggy Queener; nephew, Michael Wiseman; husbands, Bill Love and Harold Duncan; and stepson Bobby Love.
She is survived by Beth and Mike Brooks, Bill and Nancy Love, her grandchildren: Brandon Love, Maria Love, Kerry Biggs, Jason and Bobby Love; her great grandchildren, Deja, Mya, Lincoln, and Elijah; and her cousins, Connie and Debbie.
A Committal Service will be held at Old Gray Cemetery, 543 N Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917, US, on March 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The service will be officiated by Tony McAfee.
