I met Betty when I started taking a friend’s mom to get her hair done. I always looked forward to hanging out at the salon on Thursdays and chatting with the ladies there. Betty was a special lady whose bright inner light always shone through her beautiful twinkling blue eyes. God truly blessed me when he put Betty in my path. I will miss her terribly but I know she is with Bruce now.  For that we can all rejoice. My deepest sympathy to all who loved her, She was one of a kind.

Betty and Bruce were very special friends.  They had such a giving heart. Always kind loving.  Betty named my stray cat.  She would come by to bring him treats. They supported CRM mission's and came to Africa for mission. They loved on the Massai people and helped them. I remember Betty holding the little goats and talking to them. Betty is happy now she is with Jesus and Bruce.  How she missed sweet Bruce.

Betty, I’ll miss you and all the fun we had going to hair style shows . I loved you and Bruce.  You guys are together and happy again.

Betty Ruth,   I know my Mother (Alb) was waiting on you at those Heavenly Pearly Gates with with your Angel Wings on with open arms.  What a reunion with Bruce and the Family. Betty was a precious friend to our whole family and loved and supported me my whole life. She had a gigantic heart and so many talents, and she always brought a positive attitude.  I will miss her immensely, as will so many others.

My Mom Ina and her twin Nina loved Ms. Betty. She fixed their hair every week. They told Ms. Betty stories often. Nina passed away in December and Ms. Betty was there several days to help Nina. That was so appreciated by the family. My Mom will truly miss her.

Betty had a beauty shop on magnolia and cut my oldest son Sean’s hair the first time and many other. He would love to sweep the cut hair for her. Betty was a jewel 

A great loss.  Betty was such a sweet soul with a generous heart.  She will be missed.

I spent many mornings in her beauty shop while she worked on my grandmother's hair. There were days when I would spend time drawing pictures in her bay window ( I had to give the chair up so Bruff or the other cats could lay in the sun... hahaha) and even one of them I drew still hangs on her wall in the shop.  
Even as we got older and did not get to make our Thursday trips over she would ask about us and sometime I would pop in to see her and all the ladies. 

Below is a picture of her getting to see my son in an outfit she had got him for his first  Easter along with my grandmother. They talked everyday and Landon was always one of the subjects. 


Betty was one of nicest and most lovely persons I have ever known!   Praise the Lord, she's in Heaven and having a glad reunion with Bruce!!!

My walking friend, my shoulder, my 2nd Mother. I love you Betty and Bruce we will miss you soooo much. But I know that you are so happy now with Bruce. 
 This is Caleigh granny betty, I will miss you more,I love when you go walking with us and gave me gifts. Love you Betty miss you and Bruce.  From Gail, Caleigh and Lawana.
