Betty L Seymour Woods

Betty Lou Seymour Woods, age 81, departed this world to begin her new life for eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 7, 2012. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fountain City and loved her Jolly Elders. She was a devoted mother and homemaker and every day with her was a blessing, every minute was a memory. She worked for DeRoyal Industries for 18 years.

Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Luther Lonzo Woods, parents, Charlie and Retha Seymour, brother, Swan Seymour, sisters, Anne Malone and Irene Smith.

Survived by daughter, Linda (Stan) Ingle, son, Ron (Lisa) Woods, grandchildren, Melissa (David) Carey, Justin (Kodi) Ingle, Emily and Katherine Woods, great grandchildren, Madeline Ingle, Jaylon and Jack Carey, sister, Joann Brewer, brother, Walter (Doris) Seymour, and many precious nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, 6-8 pm, at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11 am in the chapel followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery, Reverend John Holland officiating.

Pallbearers will be Justin Ingle, Larry Smith, David Smith, Kelly Smith, Alex and Lee Henry, Mark Seymour and Mitchell Posey.
