Harmon, Billy B., age 84, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 at home. He was of the Methodist Faith. He retired from Beretta Tile Company with 47 years of service. Billy served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on USS Hancock. Preceded in death by parents, Willie and Bennie Harmon; daughter, Elaine Harmon; sisters, Hilda Harmon, Doris McGinnis Vannoy; and brother, Bobby Harmon.
Survived by wife, Betty Harmon; son, Mitch Harmon and wife Dolly; sister, Marlyn Harmon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins in Greeneville and Kingsport.
Friends may call at their convenience Wednesday until 8 pm at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 am for the Graveside Service at 10 am in Lynnhurst Cemetery with Chaplain Mike McNutt officiating.
