Billy B Loveday

CM Sgt. (Ret.) Bill B. Loveday, age 86, of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at U.T. Medical Center. Mr. Loveday was a member of the U.S. Air Force and the Tennessee Air National Guard for 4o years. He was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church for many years. He was proud to wear the U.S. Air Force Uniform, which he did for patriotic services at church and for fallen military friends. Mr. Loveday was also a member of the Tennessee Sheriff’s Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Myrtle Loveday; sisters: Shirley Jett and Helen Howell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Bobbie J. Loveday; son, Jeff Loveday; precious granddaughter Abby Elizabeth Loveday; sisters: Betty (Pete) Peterson, Linda Loveday; brother Bob (Lois) Loveday, and many, much loved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7 pm in the chapel of Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. The Funeral Service for Mr. Loveday will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Kent Williams, officiating. Entombment will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery with full military honors. Honorary pallbearers will be his military buddies both living and those who have gone on before him.
