

On Wednesday, June 18th, Burna Jean Walker, age 82 of Knoxville, unexpectedly but peacefully passed away. We are heart broken. Jean was a 1962 Graduate of Rule High School where she was voted CUTEST in her senior class. She married Troy Walker on October 4, 1962, and attended Tennessee School of Beauty and graduated in 1963.
Jean was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was so proud of her family and friends and cared deeply for each and everyone one of them.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Troy Walker; sons, Chris (Shirley) Walker, Todd (Kim) Walker; daughter, Tammy (Bobby) King; grandchildren, Jonathan (Racheal) Bice, Bailey Walker, Matthew Walker, Summer Lovin, Benjamin Walker; great grandsons, Jordan Bice and Dakota Bice.
We can thank her loving daughter, Tammy, for always being there for her mom and giving her the extra care she needed in recent years. We also give thanks to special friends, Guy and Rhonda Womack for always being there for Mom and Dad and being a part of our family.
Family will receive friends Saturday, June 21st from 10am-12pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with funeral service at 12pm. Rev. Mike Segers officiating. Graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery, 3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918, immediately following. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Young-Williams Animal Center, 3201 Division Street, Knoxville, TN 37919. Jean loved cats, kittens, and furry animals of all kinds.
