Chris Mays, age 39 of Rockford, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Chris was a driver for FED EX, and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and Tennessee Football. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Sharp, as well as other numerous relatives. Survivors include his son, Brandon Mays; fiancé, Amanda Overholt and sons, Gregory and Takoda; mother, Lisa Pentecost and fiancé, Doug Bonham; father and step-mother, David and Jodi Mays; brother, Bryan Mays and wife Danielle; grandparents, Lola Sharp and Bruce and Betty Mays; niece, Caitlin Mays; nephew, Jacob Mays; uncle, Monty Sharp and wife Amy, along with other various aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 5-7 pm in the chapel of Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 pm.
