Clarence Edward (Eddie) Bowles, Jr., age 68, of Corryton, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at UT Medical Center. He was retired from University of Tennessee, Physical Plant after 41 years of service. Eddie was a member of Boy Scouts of America and later served as an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 500, and was the proud father of 2 Eagle Scouts. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend to everyone he knew. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence, Sr. and Jean Bowles. Survived by wife of 42 years, Karen; sons, Chris Bowles and Chad Bowles (Brittney); grandsons, Owen and Landon Bowles; brother, Larry Bowles (Debbie); several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Friday at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Saturday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for the 11 am Graveside Service.
