

Ingle, Eddie Lee, age 64, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at home with family by his side. He loved and was a devoted employee at the City of Knoxville as a foreman for 38 years. He was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by parents, Creed and Beatrice Ingle; sisters, Delores Hensley, Elizabeth Johnson.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Carolyn Smith-Ingle of Knoxville; sons, Eddie, Jr. First. Sergeant Mike, Bobby Ingle of Knoxville; special nieces and nephews; step-son, James Smith of Knoxville; sister, Willie Dean Kirby of Knoxville; mother-in-law, Dolly (Granny) Cooper; grandchildren, Derrick, Tiffany, Nicholas Smith of Knoxville. Special family Bill Haney, Bob Haney, Sally Wood, Tony, Star, Sky Oldham; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to the City of Knoxville employees for all the love and help you have shown through our difficult time.
The family will receive friends Friday 6 – 8 pm. The chapel service will be 2 pm Saturday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. David Cloud officiating. Interment to follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery.
