Elizabeth Ann (Beth) Bowen Holland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. She was born at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, on June 23, 1959, and she traveled the world as a “military brat.” To say she lead a full and happy life would be an understatement. Holland, especially her band kids! She was the joy and the light to everyone that she met. She was led by her faith in God and love for her family.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Harry and Thelma Bowen; her maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Helen MacKay; her father, TSGT Robert Calhoun Bowen; her father and mother-in-law, Asberry Morgan Holland and Mary Francis Holland. She is survived by her husband of 31 years,
Benjamin L. Holland; her son, Mac Holland and his wife, Beverly Holland; and her granddaughter, MacKaylee Ann Holland; her daughter, Morgan McGregor; her husband, Scott McGregor; and her grand-dogs, Sassy and Maggie; her mother, Eleanor Bowen; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert Calhoun Bowen,
Jr., and Angela Bowen and their two children, Chelsea and Jeremy Bowen. She is also survived by her uncles, Tommy and Jimmy Bowen and their spouses, of Anderson SC; as well as her uncle, Jim MacKay; and aunt, Peggy MacKay, of Toronto, Canada; along with her many cousins and the loving members
of her Travelers family. A celebration of life will be held at Fountain City Presbyterian Church, 500 Hotel Road, Knoxville, TN 37918, on Friday, November
18, 2016, at 6:00 PM. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that you make a donation to the Family Promise Ministry through Fountain City Presbyterian Church, a cause that was very near and dear to her heart.
