I always loved going to Knoxville  with Margaret Ann to stay at Georgia's.  Loved getting to know all her children.  Her  siblings and mine were close friends.  Prayers for the family. RITA - AS MARGARET NAMED ME.

I don't have this picture available so I took a screenshot of it! This was a very funny moment that I will probably remember forever because they played a joke on my father Bernie! My sister was about to get married and the three of them well maybe I don't know if Grandma was involved exactly but they made an arrangement if you call it that and put it out in the pool and told my dad that was part of the wedding flower stuff! It was hysterical and this is the picture and I remember that like it was yesterday! The three of them were having a spa day also and literally had this blue white whatever stuff all over their faces and Grandma too! It was a sight to see for sure and that was in our home in California a long time ago it feels like but I remember it fondly! Those three were a hoot and loved as much as anybody could love! We miss all of them everyday! The Winfrey family originally was a lot of people and from Aunt Georgie down to Josephine there ended up being a lot of cousins second cousins extended family! But the reunions my Lord the people. Thank goodness there was a lot of land! Aunt Georgia I know you loved the volunteers and I made a video few days ago in your honor playing Rocky Top! I love you I miss you and I will never ever stop remembering who you are who you were and who you always will be! I am at least at peace that you're up there with my mom and dad! Not to mention all your siblings and your parents. I know how much you were truly loved. You were the best of the best. Your heart was immense and everyone could see that even if they weren't family they loved you like family. I have one last thing that I was reminded of today. Kathy brought Aunt Georgia to see my mom I can't tell you what year it was but she was dealing with her Alzheimer's. And when they had to get up to leave my mom did not want to let go of Aunt Georgia's hand she literally did not want to let go! I could say that's a fond memory because it shows the love my mom had for her!

Gary and I enjoyed seeing your Mom on bingo days, we ll always remember the meetings of the smartest women in Dandridge trying to solve all the worlds problems together. Georgia was the sweetest lady and we ll miss seeing her.

Georgia was so precious to me. I work at jefferson park and i would visit her every chance i got. Her smile and the twinkle in her eyes when i would talk to her made my heart happy.  I know God has wrapped her in his arms and i know i will feel her presence. Love you Georgia rest in peace sweet lady. I love Kathy her daughter and i know her whole family will miss her. Our most sincere condolences to all of Mrs. Georgia's family.  It was such a pleasure to know her.  She will be remembered for her kindness and warm smile which inspired us daily.

My Mom was truly a devoted Christian mother who taught me to love, forgive and show kindness and treat others the way I would want to be treated. She loved my daughters Randee and Kelli so much that they would want to tell her of their accomplishments immediately and they also shared their hurts and pain with her. She lived with us for 8 years until she built her home on our property where she remained until August of 2020. What a gift to have  my Mom and grandmother to my girls just steps away.  She went with us on vacations and to almost every dance recital, cheerleading and ball games cheering on her granddaughters.  She was with me at the most heartbreaking time of my life when we lost our precious Kelli. She loved unconditionally and she would just hold me and let the tears fall and say honey you did the best you could we all tried to help her and she is in a better place with no more suffering no more pain.  Now I can say the same for my Mom and I know when she met Jesus he said well done my good and faithful servant.

Mamaw Georgia will always be known for her gentle love and spirit with animals. Over the years she sure has had numerous grandpups and grandcats to love on her. We will always treasure these special moments!

I would not have made it this far in life without my mamaw Georgia. As a young girl we had a very inseparable bond. When she lived at my mom and dad’s home, I chose to sleep snuggled up next to her until the age of 13. I always said I slept with her because she smelled so good like Oil of Olay. The reason why I was always with her is because she made feel safe, protected, secure, and loved. As a teen, young adult, and now adult I see her impact in every aspect of my life. She chose to cherish my sister (Kelli) and I through many wonderful times, trials, celebrations, and life turning points. Here are just a few of my favorite memories of her: road and camping trips to watch the boys play ball with aunt Kathy & Uncle Tom, beach trips where she stayed awake all night making sure my dad (Randy) didn’t fall asleep driving, losing her and Kelli in Disney World (we did find them back at the resort), anticipating cheer tryouts for Kelli (sitting on her wooden swing hoping mom’s van would pull in and say she made the team!), her encouraging me to be an educator and pursue my Master’s of Education degree, the comfort of reminding me ‘love again’, scary movie nights and her many blankets, babysitting Zander, Avery, Meghan, Lauren, & Lucas in her home, our walks together down Hodge Road, her prayers for me, watching Charles Stanley church sermons together, taking her grocery shopping and to Jane’s, hearing her say (now girls.. girls.. to mom myself and Kelli if we got too loud, silly, or argumentative, her famous quote of ‘Randee Lynn whose boat have you not been on’, Chloe and her blue water bowl at Mamaw’s house after full days of teaching, family vacations, being able to run into her own Hodge home at any time, and most importantly her instilling the reminder to take care of and love myself always. I am who I am because of her love, care, humor, wit, and kindness. I love you mamaw Georgia and I know I’ll spend heavenly eternity with her and Christ one day.

You were more to me than just a Mother In Law , You was a Person who loved her family with all her heart,A person who had a big loving heart. Most of all like a Mother, who stepped in when I lost my mom, who showed peace and love. Most of all was always there for me, family. Love you Georgia,RIP, Connie Lee. You will always be with us.❤️🌹
