Goldie Jenkins Rose passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 103. She retired from the Knoxville City Municipal Courthouse after many years of dedicated service. Goldie was a member Wallace Memorial Baptist Church and was a former member of West Lonsdale Baptist Church.
Goldie was preceded in death by husband, J.C. Rose; parents, Luther M. and Nettie Jenkins. She is survived by stepchildren, Mary Reeves and husband, Jim of Knoxville, Sandy Green of Knoxville; special grandson, Timothy Shane Daugherty of Knoxville; grandchildren, Clay Reeves and Aaron Reeves of Knoxville; great grandchild, Cody Reeves and wife, Merenda of Dayton, Ohio; second cousin, Johnny Brooks; and a host of special friends.
Graveside service will take place Friday, March 27th at 3pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Rev. Kent Williams to officiate. Family and friends will gather at the graveside at 2:45pm.
