Ball, James Earl “Jim” age 46 of Knoxville passed away Monday, March 12, 2012. He was a member of Wings of Faith Church. Jim was retired from the United States Marine Corp and retired from the United States Post Office. Preceded in death by his step-father Leonard Madden and brother Billy Joe Madden. Survivors include mother, Carole Benton; children, Amanda Harris and husband Brian, Terra Utley and Justin Ball, fiancée, Tammie Lawson and her children, Dennis McLean and wife Brittany and April Lawson; 7 special grandchildren, brother, Edward Norton Ball Jr., sister, Deborah Fitzwater and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday with the funeral service at 8 pm at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Pastor Judy DeLatte officiating. Interment will be in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee at 1:00 pm Tuesday. Pallbearers are Brian Harris, Stanley Hawkins, Amanda Harris, William Davis, and Dennis McClean.
