Davis, Julia Blair, 90, of Heiskell, passed into Eternity, Thursday, October 6, 2011. She was a member of Bishopville Baptist Church, Heiskell. Julia was retired from Sears & Roebuck, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Glenn Davis; sons, James W. and Johnny Davis; sister, Martha Jo Blair Schmidt. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Eleanor Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Jacquelyn and Jimmy Kirk; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many loving and beloved nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, Saturday, from 6pm until the 8pm funeral service. Rev. Ed Bowne and Rev. Larry Hewitt will officiate. The family will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery, 9:45am Sunday, for a 10:00am interment.
