Bilbrey, Katherine Louise age 67 of Knoxville, TN passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025. She was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Kathy was a graduate of Cocke County High School and the University of Tennessee. She was a lifelong educator and taught for many years at Shannondale Elementary School. Kathy enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Brianna Bilbrey; parents, Louise and Warren Denton; father-in-law, Lansford Bilbrey; brother, John Denton; brother-in-law, Mike Bilbrey. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, David Bilbrey; son, Alex Bilbrey; brother, Tommy (Terri) Denton; nephews, Brandon and Johnny (Samantha) Denton, Brody and Zander Bilbrey; mother-in-law, Hazel Bilbrey; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pat and Christine Bilbrey.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 23rd from 6-8 pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
