Kerry was preceded in death by father, Luther Ben Powers; mother, Vivian Nolan; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Bobby Stringfield. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Eva Powers; son and daughter-in-law, John Ben and Sara Powers of Loudon; daughter, April Powers of Maryville; granddaughter, Serena Powers of Loudon; sisters, Elaine Walker of New Tazewell, Leigh Powers, Carla Saint and Patsy Powers all of Huntsville, Alabama; brothers, Mike Herron of Loudon and Mike Powers of Huntsville, Alabama; a host of friends and relatives.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 9th from 5-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7pm. Bishop Drinnon to officiate. Graveside service will take place Thursday, March 10th, meeting at Berry Lynnhurst Chapel at 10:30 for an 11am committal service at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
