Lee Rae Pitts

Pitts, Lee Rae Parks – age 83, of Knoxville, passed away October 16, 2011, at NHC Oak Ridge. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Lee Rae was a long time member of West Haven Baptist Church and was retired from 1st Tennessee Bank. Proceeded in death by husband Cecil M. Pitts, parents Henry and Pearl Parks, brother A.C.(Gus) Parks and sister Melba Acuff. Survived by sons David Pitts and wife Patti, Ronnie Pitts and wife Kim, grandson Kevin Pitts, wife Shayne, and beloved, great granddaughter Leah, Beaufort, SC, brother Charles Parks and wife Phyllis, aunt Nadine Johnson, Hulin, Ky, and several loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Becky Parks, Imogene Cooper, and the staff of NHC Oak Ridge and Caris Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children’s Ministry at West Haven Baptist Church, 5651 Matlock Road, Knoxville 37921. Family will receive friends from 6-7:30pm, Tuesday, October 18th at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel, with a memorial service following.
