Russell, Leo Hallie, age 93, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 25, 2010. Leo was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Karns. She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Tina (Snapp) Holbert; husband, Shirley L. Russell; sisters, Ida Finchum, Mae Finchum, Eula Burch; brothers, E. C. Holbert, Otha Wilson Holbert and James Raymond Holbert.
Survived by daughter, Patricia Russell Nabors; granddaughter, Janie Nabors; sister, Hazel Dykes. Several special nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Colonial Hills Nursing Center, Maryville, TN, NHC Home Health, caregiver Niki Souder and Dr. Michael Bernard.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 6 – 8 pm at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Service will follow at 8 pm with Rev. Stacey Bearden and Rev. Mark Braddom. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, October 27, 2010 for an 11 am interment.
