Walters, Lois Irene Tipton, age 73, of Powell, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 15, 2012. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Lucille Tipton; sister, Gladys Walters; brother, Jack Tipton. Survived by husband, James Walters; son, Kevin Walters and wife Beth; granddaughter, Kristen Walters; great-granddaughter, Raelyn Lewis; sister, Mary Hodge and husband James; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Tuesday, September 18, 2012 with service to follow at 7 PM in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Michael Eldridge officiating. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for 10:00 AM interment on Wednesday, September 19, 2012.
