LONG, MARJORIE ELIZABETH “Marge” – age 89 of Knoxville peacefully went to her heavenly home with Jesus on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Marge was a member of Second United Methodist Church, Abundant Life Sunday School Class, and the leader of her large family. She would always say “I love you more.” Today we all say “We love you more.” Preceded in death by father and mother, Henry and Emma Lee Large, husband, Charles McGhee Long; son, Charles Wayne Long; brothers, Ted Richard Large and Bobby Large Sr.; sister Dot Chance. Brother/Sisters: Joyce Carnes, Harold Large, Wanda Large, Sybil Cagley, Gwen Wallace. Thank you to the staff at Shannondale Nursing Facility for all their loving care for the past nine years. The family will receive friends, Thursday, July 10, 2014, from 5:00pm-7:30pm in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 7:30pm. The Reverend MC Taylor and Reverend Tim Paul Officiating. Graveside service will be held Friday at New Gray Cemetery on Western Avenue at 11:00am. Family will be meeting at Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel to process to the cemetery at 10:00am.
