Nora Belle Witt McMurry, 93, of Corryton, passed away Tuesday, October 16 at Tennova Residential Hospice. She was born August 31, 1919 to Charles F. and Sallie Witt. She was preceded in death by husband Lee M. McMurry Jr., daughter Carolyn McMurry Reynolds, and son Allan McMurry. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Everette and Linda McMurry, David and Chris McMurry, Tom and Penny McMurry, Don and Peggy McMurry, and Gary and Darlene McMurry. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Loretta McMurry, brother Robert Witt, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00pm with a funeral service to follow at Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel. There will be a graveside service Friday at 11:00am at Greenwood Cemetery.
