Ruby Dale Halliburton

Ruby Dale Halliburton, 85, of Erin, Tennessee, went to Heaven on March 11, 2023, following a short stay at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN after a brief illness. Dale was born on June 15, 1937 in McKinnon, TN. She is a 1955 graduate of Houston County High School and married her husband, James (Jimmy) Halliburton the same year. She spent most of her life in the hospitality business and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed her 3 grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters and loved fashion and game shows. Dale was preceded in death by her husband James A. Halliburton, her daughter Pajet Angel, her parents Clarence and Wilda Hickerson, and her sisters Amy Fish, Mickey Gill and Carol Ann Hickerson. She is survived by her grandchildren Britney Barnes, Talan Kirk (Shelby) and David Colin Kirk, her great-grandchildren Melody, Clara and Elena Kirk, her brother Hugh Hickerson, her sister Betty Smith, and her dear friends Patsy Rye Porch and Shelby Jean Barnett. A graveside service will be held at Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville, TN on Monday, March 20 at 1 pm. Elder Richard E. Riggs will be officiating.
