Judy Taylor I am so sorry for the loss of your brother.  I immediately recognized his name.  I lost my brother recently as well.  I feel your loss.

Oh Cindy, what a shock when I heard of Rudy's death. It always made me proud  when I could tell someone we grew up in the same neighborhood. 
My husband, Bill, said he wished he could have gotten to know him better. He was a wonderful person and will be sadly missed. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Cindy in case I miss seeing you at funeral home, I wanted to leave a message of prayers for comfort.  Even though Rudy has left his earthly body and is heavenly healed now from all the pain, it does not lessen the loss of such a great man.  You two were always the couple to be admired.  Not often enough do two great people unite to become one.  We loved Rudy and will continue to love and pray for you (Cindy) each day.

I grew up in his neighborhood until I was out of Moses school. He was always a good and kind spirited little boy and grew up to be a great man and public servant for Knoxville. Always kind and courteous to everyone and always in a good mood if if he wasn't in the best of health. Now he's in Heaven with God and free of pain. Always in our memories and hearts. Chief Rudy Bradley was a policeman's policeman. He loved the Officers, the Police Department and the Community. He often could be found walking around headquarters talking to everyone to see how they were doing. He was not just a great talker but also a great listener. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I was honored to work with Chief Bradley at the Knoxville Police Department during the 1970's.  During my seven years, as a Secretary with the Department, there was never a more respectful and honorable officer as he was. Knoxville was very blessed to have Rudy leading and protecting our city. Our love and prayers are with the whole family during this sorrowful time.

Rudy and Cindy define what it is to live a Christian life.  They care for all of their neighbors and would do anything to help them under any circumstance.  We love them both and are blessed to have known them for more than 25 years!  Luck made them neighbors, love made them family!  We will miss seeing Rudy, but I know he has his hat on in heaven and is watching Blue Bloods!

I know Rudy has gone to Heaven.  I hope he sees my late husband, Sgt. John Rogers and tells him I think about him a lot.  God bless Cindy because I know what she is going through by losing her loving husband.   But he is no longer in pain.

A friend , a father, a husband,  a mentor ,  an example to be followed. God loaned him to us and now gave him his rest for all he did to serve. We are grateful we had him in our lives.

It was always a privilege to talk with Rudy and he was such a humble person! Thoughts and prayers to Cindy and the family because we know these past few days and the time ahead will be some of the toughest days you've ever had. May God comfort and bless you and give you the strength to carry on.
