Ruth Massey Byerly “Nanda”, age 76, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at home. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a registered nurse and graduate of the Fort Sanders School of Nursing class of 1956 and administrator for several home healthcare agencies. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include husband of 55 years, Ermon Byerly, son Greg Byerly and wife Sherri, grandson Josh Byerly, granddaughter Kristen Crowell and husband Matt, great grandson Miller Crowell, and brother in law James Byerly and wife Virginia.
Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery for graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday and Rev. Ron Stewart will officiate. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
