Smith, (Sally) Marzee, age 91, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 2, 2014. She was an active member of Powell United Methodist Church and devoted wife and mother. Preceded in death by husband, Robert L. Smith; parents, Anna Marie and James Nelson; brothers, Henry, Charles, J.R. and Ralph Nelson; brother-in-law, John Fox. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, James and Susan Smith and sister, Mary Ellen Fox; nieces and nephews, Doris Ann, LeRoy, Eva Ann, Jeff, Jimmy, Lucille and Cole and “best” friends, Louise, Margaret and Bill. Special thanks to her friends from the Sheriff’s Department who frequently visited her. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm, Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Lynnhurst Chapel.
