Jenkins, Virgie Mae age 89 of Knoxville, passed Sunday, July 22, 2012. She retired from Standard Knitting Mill after 45 years of service. Preceded in death by her parents David and Moudie Jenkins and brother Bucky Jenkins. Survivors include Brother and sister-in-law Charles and Frona Jenkins, sister-in-law Linda Jenkins, niece Jennifer (Josh) Turner, nephew David (Bethany) Jenkins and a host of great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-7pm in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel. A Funeral Service will follow at 7pm with Rev. Archie Powell officiating.
