Cheek, Virginia Wade, age 81, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday December 21, 2014 at Tennova Residential Hospice. She was a member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: husband E. G. Cheek and parents Dillo and Alva Sharp. Survivors include: daughters: Kathy and Donna (Jay)White; granddaughter Summer Crawford; great-grandchildren Maze and Kendall; sister Glenda Shoffner; niece Kim Walters; nephew Mike Shoffner; and several cousins and special friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday December 28th from 5-7 PM with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, Rev. Jim Robertson officiating.
