William "Bill" Clinton Nelson, Jr., age 71, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Bill's life revolved around his family and he will be greatly missed by those who knew and love him. He was a handyman, enjoyed working on cars and loved fishing and camping in the summer. Bill was loved by everyone that knew him.
Bill was preceded in death by spouse, Brenda Nelson; sister, Shirley Rose Brown. He is survived by daughter, Vanessa (Wylie) Chesney; son, Billy Nelson; grandchildren, Joshua Chesney, Alexis Nelson, Logan Chesney, Cassidy Nelson; siblings, Linda Bounds and Steve (Goldie) Wright, Sr.; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be planned in September for friends and family.
