Sharp, Willie Jean, age 93, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Hillcrest North. Member of North Knoxville Baptist Church. She was retired from St. Mary’s Hospital. Preceded in death by husband, Don R. Sharp; parents, James and Bessie Humphries; sisters, Lottie Carmichael, Blanche Thomas, Ruby Turner, Minnie Walton, Edna Smith, and Jeanette Roberts.
Survivors include daughter, Barbara Floyd and husband James; son, Robert E. Sharp and wife Luci; 4 grandchildren, Ricky Floyd and wife Pam, Patricia Story and husband Rob, Dennis Sharp and wife Darcy, Brian Sharp and wife Cheryl; 10 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; sisters, Geneva Rippy and husband Jack, Lillian Larkin; brother, Earl Humphries and wife Abbie; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Special thanks to 2nd floor staff at Hillcrest North.
Funeral service 11 am Friday at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Guy Milam officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
