Alvaro Gomez

Alvaro Gomez, a truck driver for 17 years, was a family man. He was a devoted husband, father and son who enjoyed spending time outdoors with his love ones. Alvaro loved playing pool, fishing, barbecuing and riding his RZR all over Santa Maria's back roads.

Alvaro is survived by his wife, Melissa Gomez; his daughter Alyssa Nicole; his son Andrew Jacob; his daughter Amber Renee; his daughter Kayla Lianne; and his son Kristian Alvaro; his father Nicolas Gomez and his mother Olga Gomez; his brother Omero Gomez (Candida), his brother Gumaro Gomez (Evelia) and his brother Edelmiro Gomez (Oralia).

Alvaro was preceded in death by his sister Beatrice Yanez; his brother Blas Gomez and his brother Nicolas Gomez Jr.

A visitation for Alvaro will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559, followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM.
