The beloved Benjamin “Ben” Sanchez was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 66 in Arlington, Texas on Tuesday November 10, 2020. Benjamin was born April 25, 1954 to Modesto and Soledad Sanchez in Linares, Nuevo León, Mexico.
Born the eldest of seven siblings, Ben became a pillar of leadership in his family and through his work life. At age 20, Ben was blessed with a job as an Assembly Worker within an American Motors/Chrysler assembly plant located in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Chrysler would then relocate him and his family to Kokomo, Indiana where Ben would retire after 32 years of service from DaimlerChrysler as a skilled CNC Machinist. As a lover of hard work and family, Ben would then return to his siblings and family in Texas and obtain a job as a Chief Forklift Driver for Owens Corning in Irving, Texas. Benjamin enjoyed classic cars, fishing and traveling to family during his years.
Benjamin will forever be missed by his wife Benilde Sanchez. Survived by his children of their mother Susanna Herrera Sanchez; Benjamin (Treeny) Sanchez Jr., Sulena (Jason) Castillo, Jessica Sanchez and Yolanda Sanchez; Step Children Rolando Claudio and Jennifer Ann Claudio; Siblings: Rubina Sanchez Ashraf, Blanca Lopez, Connie (Merced) Rodriguez and Lollie (Angel) Rivera, Modesto (Sylvia) Sanchez Jr. and David (Lidia) Sanchez; Grandchildren: Simon Sanchez, Quincy Jackson, Amina Cummings, Jesse Cummings, and Jace Castillo; Step Grandchildren: Mia and Aiden Castillo; Great Granddaughter: Sofia Sue Sanchez.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents Modesto and Soledad Sanchez.
