Charles E Meier

Charles was born in La Feria, TX to Mabel and Ernest Meier. He graduated from La Feria and served in the United States Air Force. He married Carol Robertson in 1952 and they enjoyed 66 years of marriage, from this union, they had three children. Charles spent the majority of his life in the Rio Grande Valley working in industrial sales.

Charles is survived by wife Carol; son Robert (Tammy) Charles; daughter Nancy (David) Krug; sister Betty Jane King; his grandchildren Terry (Renee) Justice, Whitney (Zack) Swanberg, Miranda (Matthew) Johnson, and Cassandra Krug; and his great granddaughter Charlotte Rose Johnson.

His beloved daughter Susan preceded him in death along with his granddaughter Sheri.

Charles will be greatly missed and his family looks forward to the day when we are again together. In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to Harlingen Humane Society. Special thanks to Christopher, Julie, and Superior Health Hospice for their caring support during this difficult time for our family.

Visitation for Charles will be held Monday January 28, 2019 from 1 PM – 9 PM with family present from 6 PM – 8 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home located in La Feria, TX. Funeral Service will take place Tuesday January 29, 2019 at 10 AM with burial to follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
