Clara Ann Cruz

Clara was born to Hollis and Janie Woodlee on January 23, 1953 in Refugio, Texas. She married Robert Cruz, Sr. May 29, 1992 in George West, Texas. Clara devoted the majority of her life caring for others in nursing homes and as a Home Health Provider. Her greatest joy was her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, Aunt, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hollis and Janie Woodlee, sisters Mabel Woodlee, Audrey Kohles, Linda Woodlee, and brothers Charles “Peewee” Woodlee and Hollis Woodlee and stepdaughter Rebeca “Becky” Cruz

Clara is survived by her husband Robert G. Cruz, Sr. of George West, daughters Roxanne (John) Kelly of Canyon, Amanda (Daryl) Smith of San Angelo, Belinda (Joe) Afyounizaden of Houston, Annie (Juan) Lopez of Alice, Alice Cruz of San Antonio; grandchildren Riley Kelly Baker, Haley Kelly Dubois, Nathan Kelly and Sydney Smith, great grandsons Oliver Baker and Sawyer Baker, sisters Marilyn, Patricia, Shirley, Margaret, and brothers David, Robert and Otto.

Clara will be greatly missed by numerous extended family and friends.
