She was born in Harlingen, TX on September 25,1957 to Armando and Carmen Huerta.
She graduated from Harlingen High School in 1976 and worked at the same accounting firm as a secretary for 45 years.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Pascual Peña, Jr., sons, Pascual III (Amanda) and Jonathan (Sarah), grandchildren who she loved “To The Moon and Back” Michelle Chino, Ryan, SIlas, and Juniper Pena and Kennedy and Austin Pena, sisters Rebeccah Morrison, Sarah Sanchez, Melissa and Laura Huerta, brother Julio Huerta, and many nieces and nephew.
Debbie loved baking, making wreaths, playing Word Brain, watching old movies and SHOPPING.
Serving as pallbearers include Pascual and Jonathan Peña, Matthew Morrison, Christopher Huerta, Michelle Chino, and Alex Huerta. Honorary pallbearers are Ryan, Silas, and Austin Peña.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Debbie’s life from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Heavenly Grace in La Feria TX. A prayer service at 7:00PM Sunday, March 14, 2021 followed by a sermonette on Monday at 10:00 am at Heavenly Grace, and burial at Restlawn.
