Domingo Quintero Hernandez Jr.

Domingo attended Harlingen High School in the late 50's-early 60's. He worked at Grapette Co. for 11 years and Everest Water for 33 years.

He was a fan of Harlingen Cardinals and Harlingen South Hawks football. His shared his love of sports by coaching at the Texas Bronco League in the late 70's with A-1 Service teams. He also enjoyed playing sports with the neighborhood kids. He was a very nice man that enjoyed talking to anyone he met.

After retirement, he enjoyed working on his lawn and going to restaurants for coffee and a good conversation.

Domingo is survived by his children Jesus Jose Hernandez (Victoria); Martin Hernandez (Gracie); and Juan Jose Hernandez (Cindy); his sister-in-law Oralia C. Hernandez.

Domingo was preceded in death by his parents Domingo L. Hernandez and Hortencia Q. Hernandez; his wife Elvia H. Hernandez; his son Domingo G. Hernandez; his sister Eleanor L. Ramirez; his brothers Martin Q. Hernandez; Elpidio Q. Hernandez; Rodolfo Q. Hernandez and Jose Roberto Q. Hernandez.

A memorial service for Domingo will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.

Thank you to Victoria who never left his side to care for her father-in-law to the end like a daughter. A special thanks to Rodolfo Hernandez Jr. -his nephew- for helping out in our saddest times with our loving father, uncle, and grandfather.
