Enrique Palacios Chapa

Mr. Chapa was born in Scarville, Iowa and lived most of his life in Harlingen. He retired from the Postal Service, having worked as a window clerk for a number of years. He served in the armed service shortly after World War II. Mr. Chapa was active with P.T.A. and former President of the Cardinal Quarterback Club. His greatest ambition was helping students receive a quality education.

He is survived by his wife, Magdalena, one son David of Harlingen and one daughter Elizabeth Harris of Port Orchard, Washington. Granddaughters; Elexis Elyse and Elisa Chapa of Harlingen, grandsons; Andre and Bryan Harris of Port Orchard, Washington.

A burial will occur Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 11AM at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, TX.
