I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.  I remember attending your wedding. I remember my mother telling me that Ernesto was my cousin on her side of the family and you are my cousin on my dad's side.  I was reading his life's story and he did so much of the Lord, especially being faithful and obedient to his word.  What a blessing Ernesto was to your life.  You are one lucky lady to have shared your life with him.  I pray that God continue comforting you during this sorrowful time.  Remember,  God is always faithful and his is good and just.  I love you cousin!

This day will forever be a blessing! You married Gerald and I when once upon a time I didn’t even believe in marriage! You cried that day and I hugged you. I had too. I had never seen that side of you. It was Covid and no one was hugging… but I was…
 The entire family came together and had peace and healing in the hugs and touch in that moment , I know we all felt God in our wedding!

In this response you spread an example of loving and living with God first and loving your wife and cherishing her by using her as the example. Not only did you write it and live it, but your actions showed the love for your family and your loyalty to God. Tia Nelly will forever be blessed with Hannah, Tom, and Sam because you two live in them and through them because of the high standards you lived by. I want to thank you for being a wonderful brother to my mom and loving her so much that you used to come and discipline me when I was a brat! I will always remember your laughter and chasing you down the caliche road. I will always remember you coaching us in baseball, letting us all tackle you and crack eggs on your head on Easter, your voice at Sunday service, and most of all I see you in my brother! You were a father in so many ways beyond just in your household! You live through Tom and Rog and so many others. I wish I could say everything that’s in my heart. But I know that through our family I will always see you, feel you and hear your laughter. I love you Tio!

Here is a simple act of love, advice and wisdom you poured in to me to share with the world when I publish my book! These were the questions I asked, and bellow was your response

My Tio Lee, Thank you for always taking the time to ask how I was doing. You would ask me how BIG CITY life was because I lived in San Antonio. You would hug me so tight and made me feel loved. I loved hearing you talk and how passionate you were about what you loved. Your hunger to learn more about Jesus was so inspiring. I have many memories of you but my favorite has to be Jamming in the front seat with you as you drove to Oklahoma for Extravaganza. All of the youth would fall asleep but I had the privilege to be your co-pilot. I have many memories but some I will keep close to the heart forever. Thank you for loving on my kids, even though we saw you only about 5-6 times a year you had a relationship with my kids. They will never forget trying to touch the back of your head and you laughing and joking with them because your hair was counted (your words). lol. I will miss you forever, its pretty sad you are gone but you finished your race. You are in the glory of our Jesus Christ right now and I am certain of this! Even though we mourn for you here on earth we have such great peace that you are rejoicing with our Lord and Savior. Please give a big hug to my daughter Heaven Laya, Im glad she got to meet you first. This is just a see you later, because we will reunite again.
