Esequiel Morin Cantu

Esequiel, also known to many as Billy, loved fishing, barbecuing and overall having a good time with his kids and family. He loved joking around and making all of us laugh. If you were around him, there wasn't a dull moment.

He proudly served in the United States Army for six years and was discharged with Honorable mentions. He ultimately lived a great life and loved by many. He will be greatly missed.

Esequiel is survived by his children Jessica Cantu; Bonnie Ortega (Nathan Ortega); Billy Jack Cantu; Edward Cantu; Elvis Cantu; and Priscilla Cantu; his siblings Rosendo Cantu, Celia Fabela and Susana Cantu; his grandchildren Dyandra Ortega, Emmanuel Vega Jr., Alexandra Ortega, Nathan Ortega Jr. and his great-grandchild George Reyna Jr..

Esequiel was preceded in death by his parents Rosendo and Ramona Cantu; his brothers Frank Cantu and James Cantu; and his niece Alicia Silva.

A visitation for Esequiel will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A veteran honors service will occur Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. A rosary will occur Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 7:00 p.m..
