It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George A. Levrier, who left us on March 7, 2025. George was born on September 23, 1957, and lived a life full of adventure, with a deep passion for both family and his career.
A proud graduate of the University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA) in 1984, George earned two bachelor’s degrees—one in Computer Programming and the other in Accounting. His education led him to a successful career as a computer programmer, where he made valuable contributions to the field, but his true legacy will always be his vibrant personality and the relationships he built along the way.
George was the life of the party, never missing an opportunity to bring joy and laughter to those around him. He lived life on his own terms, embracing each day with a free spirit and an unwavering zest for life. One of his greatest loves was the beach, where he found peace and happiness, often enjoying the sun, sand, and sea that he cherished so much. He also had a deep love for sports, especially his favorite teams, the San Antonio Spurs, Texas Longhorns, and the Dallas Cowboys. A passionate fan, he could always be found cheering on his teams with excitement and enthusiasm. Music was another great love of his, particularly rock 'n' roll, which brought him joy and was a constant soundtrack to his life.
He is survived by his children, Brenden George Levrier and Sabrina Levrier, as well as his beloved granddaughter, Addisen Chloe Ruiz. George will also be dearly missed by his siblings: John Levrier, Mary Jane Levrier, Maria Otilia Levrier, Andres Levrier, and Robert Levrier.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Eleodoro and Paulita Levrier, and his siblings: Eleodoro Levrier Jr., Maria (Lulu) Levrier Diaz, Luis Levrier, Francisco Levrier, and Guadalupe Levrier.
Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. George's legacy of love, laughter, and living life to the fullest will continue to inspire us every day.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 3 PM - 8 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559.
Rest in peace, George. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
