Gilbert was born June 7, 1962. In Harlingen TX to the late Adan and Irene Garcia.
Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Mary Garcia; his daughters Gracie, Jackie, Ariel and his only son Adam; His brothers Adan Garcia Jr and Noe Garcia; Sister Norma Garcia & son in laws Esteven Juarez and Jorge Rodriguez and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and grand children; Nila, Christian, Jahel, Izhel, Ezekiel, Adrian, Zechariah and Analeigha.
He enjoyed working with cars, drawing, gardening and spending time with his family and grandkids whom affectionately called him "Gilpa".
