Helena Marie Taylor

Helena Marie (Howard) Taylor of Harlingen, TX passed away on Sunday, January, 3rd, 2021 at VBMC. Helena was born July 16, 1973 to Luann (Fawbush) Howard and Franklin Charles Howard (deceased). She resided in a few locations in the Midwest until she moved with her family to Harlingen, TX.

She is survived by her partner, Dino Montelongo, who stayed with her no matter what thru the good and the bad; waiting on her every need and through so many doctor visits and hospital visits.

Also surviving are her three children and their fathers, Charles DeMoss and Mike Taylor. Her oldest son, Nickolas DeMoss, and her daughter Samantha Taylor, both reside in Harlingen, TX. Her middle son, Kodi Taylor Sr., resides in Wisconsin with Erica Rodriguez. She is also survived by her 8 year old grandson Kodi Taylor Jr. who was not only her pride and joy but kept her going in life despite the difficult times she was experiencing. Kodi Jr. resides with his mother, Amanda Cano Cardenas in Harlingen, TX.

Helena is also survived by her maternal grandmother Marie (Taden) Fawbush as well as two of her aunts, Brenda Fawbush and Donna (Fawbush) Hammitt, and her niece Allison Hammitt all of which currently reside in Corpus Christi, TX. She also has an aunt, Rose (Fawbush) Kaufman along with her uncle, Carl Kaufman who live in Crescent City, IL. Her only maternal uncle Jim Fawbush and aunt Amy (Wilson) Fawbush reside in Covington, IN.

Helena is proceeded in death by her 5 week old grand-daughter, Addison Taylor, her maternal grandfather, Raymond Fawbush (Watseka, IL), her uncle, Joseph Hammitt (Corpus Christi, TX) and her infant cousin, Kendra Fawbush (Covington, IN).
