Ila L. Shankster

Ila was born in Centerville, Iowa on August 7, 1922. She is preceded in death by her parents George Cleveland Finnell and Mary Ada Winslow Finnell; her two husband’s, R.W. Middleton and James Luther Shankster; three sisters, Verl Jean Finnell Noble, Iris B. Finnell Reeves, Violet Finnell Bubenyak; and one niece Janice Mary Noble Harding.

Ila is survived by her daughter, Linda Sue Middleton; three grandchildren, Stacy (Jason) Houser Maggard of Bradenton, Florida, Sherry Sue (Jamie) Yates Onderdonk of Weslaco, Chris Robert (Monica) Yates of La Feria; six great grandchildren, Cashawn Marie Springer, Suzette Stephenson, Taylor Walker, Michael Walker, Joseph Daniel Yates, Paige Marie Onderdonk; four great- great- grandchildren, Michael and Brody Wheeler, Alison Yates and Jaide Walker; six nieces, Jill Murreen Noble Thrasher, Karen Reeves Spackey, David Reeves, Michelle Lynn Fridlington, Sue Ann Conger, Deborah Robertson. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
