Inocencia M Perez

Inocencia Martinez Perez, 85, of San Benito, TX, passed away Monday evening, December 15, 2025. She was born December 24, 1939, to Jose G. Martinez and Inocencia De Leon Martinez, both of whom preceded her in death. Along with her beloved husband, Miguel P. Perez, and siblings Daniel S. Martinez, Aurora Avila, and Juanita M. Garza.

Inocencia leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will be forever cherished by her family. She is survived by her brother, Rogerio Martinez; her daughters, Judith Cruz Salinas, Adelita P. Cadengo (Alejandro), and Crystal Salas; and her sons, Juan Patricio Perez (Lucia), Ricardo Salinas (Audry), Mariano Perez (Mary), Miguel A. Perez (Maggie), Leonel Barron Jr. (Blanca), and Jose Barron. She was a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to numerous great-grandchildren, along with many treasured family members and friends.

A woman of deep faith, Inocencia lived her life with warmth, kindness, and strength. Her favorite color, red, reflected the love in her heart and the passion with which she embraced life. She enjoyed being out and about, sharing laughter, joy, and kindness with everyone she met. Her faith, love, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Our family takes comfort in knowing that she has been welcomed into the presence of our Lord and reunited with the loved ones who went before her.

Services for Inocencia will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home on Monday December 22, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a funeral to follow on December 23, 2025.

Pallbearers: Leonel Barron Jr., Jose Barron, Daniel X. Perez, John Patrick Torres, Anthony A. Cadengo, Zuhayr N. Nasir, James E. Salinas, and Brandon L. Salinas.
