Jackie Ned Bowlsbey

Jackie Ned Bowlsbey will be remembered for his humor, his love of life, and his unwavering devotion to his family, friends, and his dogs. He was the happiest when traveling, visiting loved ones, and sharing a good laugh. Jackie had a way of brightening any room with his jokes and easygoing nature.

He often liked to say he was "holding down the recliner", a phrase that perfectly captures his sense of humor and contentment in life's simple joys. Those who knew him will remember him not only for his laughter but for the warmth and kindness he shared with everyone around him.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Esmeralda Garza Bowlsbey; his daughter Krystal Bowlsbey (Monique); his son Jackie R. Bowlsbey (Anne); his son Jason Bowlsbey (Kelly); and his daughter Natali Merez (Alejandra); his brother James Bowlsbey and his brother Freddie Smith.

Jackie was preceded in death by his dad James Bowlsbey and his mother Martha Estep; his sister Cordelia Fitzwater; his brother Condy Stanley; his brother Willard Stanley; his brother Paul Stanley; his brother William Bowlsbey; his brother Henry Bowlsbey and his sister Mandy Stanley. Jackie also leaves behind ten grandchildren- Brayden, Alyssa, Ayden, Madison, Grayson, Kiara, DeserRae, Trey, Trinity, Emma as well as many nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly.

A visitation for Jackie will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 PM.
