Joe is survived by sons Noah and Joey, and daughter Aryanna Jo, mothers of his children, Veronica and Maria, mother Petra, father Jesus, brothers Victor, Julio, Raul, and Gerardo and sisters Laura, Sasha, Erica, and Yesenia.
Joe was preceded in death by his brother Jesus Jr. (Doe).
Joe enjoyed spending time with his children and traveling frequently. He made great memories with them that they will hold in their hearts forever. Joe also taught his children to help others in need, as he was a very giving person. Joe’s MVP Noah, Prince Jr., and Princess Ary were the greatest joys in his life and they will miss him dearly. Joe’s children had special nicknames for him, he was affectionally known as “Big Daddy Joe” to Noah, “Baba” to Joey and “Daddy” to Ary.
Joe was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, which led to his passion for collecting sports memorabilia. Throughout his time in the sports memorabilia business, he was able to forge relationships with several former and current Dallas Cowboys players. Joe was the biggest Tony Romo fan; whether Romo was playing football, golf, or announcing a game, Joe would yell in support, “That’s my boy, Romo!”
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Valley Baptist Medical Center team of doctors and nurses, especially Maribel, Melinda, Sebrina, Sam and Lisa, who cared for Joe with love and compassion.
A special thanks to Pastor Hector Perez, Chaplain David Garcia and Father Eduardo Ortega for their constant prayer and encouragement to the family. We also greatly appreciate our family and friends for all of the prayers, support, food and monetary donations.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Joe’s best friend Gilbert, brothers Julio and Gerardo, and brothers in law Irving, Jaime, and Victor.
