Kathleen Mary Blackstone

Kathleen lived a life full of adventure, love, and creativity. She and her beloved husband Rob traveled to all 50 states, exploring the beauty and diversity of the country they cherished. Her love for travel also took her beyond the U.S., with memorable trips to Vietnam and the Dominican Republic, where she shared countless experiences with close friends Tom and Penny Throne and Jimmy and Debbie Walsh.

Kathleen was also an avid gardener, finding peace and joy in nurturing plants and watching them bloom. She was a talented scrapbooker, capturing the essence of her journeys and the precious moments spent with her family and friends.

Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Kathleen loved spoiling her grandkids and great-grandkids, always making them feel cherished and special. Her warm heart, infectious smile, and boundless energy will be missed by all who knew her.

Kathleen is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert Blackstone; her daughters Anne Bourgeois (Mike); Suzy Winningham (Joe); her son Robbie JR Blackstone (Vicki); her brother David Wyda; her grandchildren Sheila (Brock), Jason (Becca), Deanna (Zane), Brianna, Hannah (Nick), Kayla (Sergio), Dillon, Joe Jr. (Maddie), Timmy, Austin, Travis, her great-grandchildren Curtis, Caiden, Arieanna, Braelynn, Mykie, Jude, Lauren, Peyton, Roxy, Oliver, her great-grandchild Georgia, Kohana, Aurora, Emelia and Gracie.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents William and Janet Wyda.

Kathleen is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special family and friends.
