Laquita Gail Prince

A beloved daughter, mother, mimi, and friend born April 23,1964 in Lovington New Mexico

gained her wings in McAllen TX surrounded by her family on March 28,2025. She exemplified

love, kindness, and dedication to her family and friends.

She was an avid Longhorn and Cowboys fan never missing a game. She had a love for country

music and dancing. She adored spending time with her family and friends. She loved her

granddogs (Bella and Bailey). She loved doing a variety of crafts and she loved to cook for

family and friends. She was a cosmetologist for 40+ years. She will be greatly missed to all

those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Don Prince, her grandparents George and Annie

Thornhill, JC Sr and Jean Turner, and Pauline Kinzie.

She is survived by her parents Bill and Rose Luck, one daughter Jess Troxtell, one son Jason

Troxtell (m. Cassie Troxtell), one grandson Jordan Troxtell, two granddaughters Madison and

Alexis Troxtell. Numerous family and friends who will continue to carry her memory in their

hearts.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

She will forever be remembered for the love, joy, and laughter she brought to all those around her.
