Our beloved mother Maria Guadalupe (Lupe) Garcia, 88, of Harlingen, TX, passed away peacefully on Saturday Feb. 4, 2017, in Austin, TX. Lupe was born in La Feria, TX, on Oct. 31, 1928. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose Ramon Garcia, Sr., of 63 years and their eldest son, Ramiro Garcia Sr. She is survived ny her loving children: Ruben (Josie), Ramon, Glynda Mendiola, Rudy
(Gloria), Evaristo, Herb, Lupe Horton (Joe), Grace Cantwell (Alfred), Elvira Garcia Herron (Dave) and Patrick. Mom was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, mentor and friend.
Viewing will be on Tues., Feb 7, 2017, from 1pm-9pm with Rosary at 7pm. Funeral service on Wed Feb 8, 2017 at 1pm, interment will follow. All held at Heavenly Grace, 26873 N. White Ranch Rd., La Feria, TX 78559.
