Maria Claricia Hinojosa

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Claricia Hinojosa, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who left us on August 27, 2024 at the age of 52. Maria was known for her unwavering love and strength, traits that defined her extraordinary life.

Maria was a passionate cook, delighting her family and friends with her culinary creations. Her love for music and gardening brought joy and tranquility to those around her, reflecting her vibrant and nurturing spirit. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and infusing her days with grace.

A social butterfly, Maria cherished time spent with loved ones, always the heart of every gathering. Her caring nature and bravery were evident in everything she did, from the way she supported her family to the kindness she extended to everyone she met.

She was truly the best daughter, mother and grandmother anyone could ask for, giving her children a legacy of love, strength, and resilience. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, a testament to a life well-lived and deeply cherished.

Maria is survived by her children Isabel Galicia; Juan Gonzalez; Sandra Cortez; and Irma Benavidez; her grandchildren Gabriel Martinez, Emily Ibarra, Alexandra Nino, Ashley Rico, Ramon Rico, Angel Rico, Emery Delgado, Emiliana Delgado, Ezekiel Gonzalez, Eden Gonzalez, Eliam Gonzalez, Khalil Benavidez, Ezra Benavidez and Patience Angi'lee Benavidez.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents Maria Isabel Ibarra and Gurnecindo Hinojosa; and her daughter Angela Galicia.
