after a hard and short battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his his loving family as he descended
into the hands of the Lord. Rene is proceeded in death by his mother, Amparo Aldape.
Rene was the son of Ramiro and +Amparo Aldape he was born in Mercedes, TX on June 15,
1957. Rene served his country up until the year 1978 where he was honorably discharged from
the Army. Rene then married the love of his life, Lillie, as they were blessed with 42 years to
cherish and love one another. Their love blessed them with two sons Marco and Alex. Rene
retired from the United States Post Office after working for 34 years. He enjoyed playing golf
with his Father, his son Marco, and several friends. He enjoyed playing guitar and rocking out to
classics like AC/DC. He qathered with band mates every Friday Night to rock out. Rene also
enjoyed the love and company of his beautiful grandchildren Uriah, Aidan, Izaiah and Ava.
The memories that we have of him will help our healing hearts as we know he is no longer
suffering. The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support, and all their prayers

Rene is survived by his loving wife Lillie Aldape; Sons Marco J. Aldape (Hilmara), and Alex A.
Aldape (Vanna): Father Ramiro Aldape Sr.: brothers Joe Aldape, Juan Aldape, Carlos Aldape
and Ramiro Aldape Jr. ; Sisters, Irene Aldape, Mary Lisauckis, Manuela Rocha; Grandchildren
Uriah, Izaiah, Aidan and Ava and several nephews and nieces.
A visitation for Rene will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 1 pm- 9 pm at Heavenly
Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N White Ranch RD, La Feria, TX. A rosary will be held at
Heavenly Grace Funeral Home Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 7 pm. There will be a chapel
service on Monday, June 27'h, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park
